The Ark Kesteven Road
We are very excited to announce that our second day nursery – on Kesteven Road, Stamford and next door to St George’s School in Stamford - is now open.
The new architect-designed nursery, which has the same cosy, ‘Hygge’ feel as the Ark on Foundry Road, Stamford, provides a homely, light and stimulating environment for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. It is open all year round from 7.30am to 6pm. We also offer term time spaces to 3 year olds when they become eligible for 15 or 30 hours government funding.
Bright, spacious and with its own large garden under a canopy of trees, it is an exciting new addition to the Ark family with outdoor learning and whole day Forest School sessions available at our own setting ‘Wild at Heart’.
With the same feel as our original nursery, the Ark at Kesteven Road is divided into many exciting rooms, that all have access onto a large decking area.
Our inviting and bright baby room is designed to make babies feel at home. It has a cosy ‘living room’, its own bathroom and changing area, bedroom and a large playroom for cruising, climbing and exploring.
Our bright and spacious toddler room provides lots of interesting and cosy spaces for our more independent 2-3 year olds to explore and investigate, including a mini indoor treehouse. The toddlers have their own bathroom and access onto the large decking area and outdoor space under trees.
Our pre-school room is a versatile space split into many different areas which focus on all areas of learning. It has been designed to be a large and bright play space that includes a tree house and under-stairs sensory cave! Like our other rooms, the pre-school has direct access onto a covered deck and stimulating outdoor play space with fire circle, tree swing, mud kitchen and wood henge. Our pre-school children also have the option to enjoy our own Forest School setting in Ketton.
