The Nursery is divided into many exciting rooms.  A lot of thought has gone into the design of our nurseries and attention to every detail is very important to us. We believe children thrive best in a homely and stimulating environment and The Ark provides a truly amazing space for all children. 

The versatile use of space, including a spacious upstairs at Kesteven Road, and folding doors at Foundry Road, allow children to thrive in smaller, ability-appropriate groups.  Large fold-back doors allow it to become two separate rooms enabling children to be in smaller, ability-appropriate groups. Each pre-school room has direct access to stimulating outdoor play spaces and has its own bathroom. All our pre-school children have the option to enjoy our own forest school setting in Ketton. 

The Nursery is also fortunate to not only have its own private garden but to have the added bonus of being able to use the school’s outdoor play areas and trim trail.
